The Oilers have made the team much stronger than they already were before starting the season. The moves made were to make sure that the cup would not only be won, but that the cup would stay here for many years.
The new players to the Oilers:
Mark Howe
Charlie Simmer
Rick Middleton
Keith Crowder
To gain these players we have had to move a few players. The most notable player would be Kevin Lowe that is gone. His Defense will be missed for sure. The replacement Mark Howe should more than pick up the slack on the DF end and add some offense from the back end. Howe will be paired with Coffey on the top pairing. This will add a new element to the team and make us stronger.
