Red Wings back on the winning track after matching our longest losing streak of the year at 1.
The guy I really overpaid for, Vinny Damphousse, had another goal and an assist. He's up to 5G's, 8A's on the season. The guy I traded to get him? 1G, 6A's, 69 PIMS.

He's up to 5G's, 8A's on the season. The guy I traded to get him? 1G, 6A's, 69 PIMS. I never understood why the others thought you overpaid. I thought you were getting the better deal there. |

Well, to be fair, you did take advantage of a kid who probably didn't even know who 95 percent of the Leafs roster from that season was and seems to have disappeared.

I tried to make the deal as fair as possible for him. It was quite even, I thought. Damphousse is just producing really well for me. |

Oilers with another big upset win this time against the powerhouse Flames. This Oilers team is becoming a true underdog story. Glenn Anderson was not expected to play, but was a game time decision. He ended up skating in circles for the majority of the game shooting the puck 3 times in his 16 minutes of ice time gaining 0 points.
This Oilers team and the way they are playing could become the biggest underdog story in ALL of sports in any era. When GM Jim Roberts was asked about the teams performance tonight he had this to say " it was pretty simple, i told the players if they lost the game i would murder every players mother. I guess with mothers day so close they responded well". While we think that is pretty fucked up, it obviously worked for this huge underdog team.

Step up and try to win. I had a better team than this before and did not even make the finals. Anything can happen.
