As of right now, I've gotten things out on FHLSim...hopefully people still read those forums. I think most of the site is tweaked properly, though I'll be taking a look over the next couple days to make sure. There is still stuff like XtraStats and CareerStats that I am going to add, just not sure if they warrant their own menu.
Still hoping that we'll be able to figure out a new banner, but I don't do graphical stuff, never have been good at that sort of thing. Pay no attention to the games that ran in the sim, that was so I could test files and updating to make sure it worked properly. Those will all be wiped out before we get underway. The rules page will be up tomorrow as well, just have to go through and make sure it all reads properly before posting it.
If you know anyone good that would be a solid fit for the league, track them down and drag them in. We're a third of the way there and I know that some of the old guys are around out there, it's just a matter of trying to track them down.
As always, you can reach me easiest via email since messengers are extremely temperamental and I don't always have them on when I'm writing. If you see something I'm missing or need to adjust, let me know. If you have ideas, speak up...there's no reason not to voice your two cents.
Let's get this going right and make it a success.

I'm pretty useless now since I've been out of sim hockey for quite awhile, but I'll try to see what I can do.

I'd like to welcome the latest GMs to join the league...Dan Ramage will be taking over the Vancouver Canucks, Robert Daniel has the reins of the Boston Bruins and Jason Glogau is in charge of the Philadelphia Flyers.
That gives us 15 slots filled and 6 to go. If you know people that might be interested, the teams remaining will be listed below. The more people we find that are quality individuals that are interested in being around for the long haul, the better. Don't hesitate to email me with any thoughts, ideas, concerns or potential candidates.
Teams Available are:
Adams Division: Buffalo, Hartford, Quebec Patrick Division: New Jersey Norris Division: Minnesota Smythe Division: Los Angeles
Thanks for all your help so far guys...it's appreciated.

As mentioned above, Darrin Thompson has taken over the Penguins franchise, giving us 11 spots filled and 10 remaining. I've updated the above list to reflect who's left.
Tonight I'll get all the new names inputted and the files uploaded to reflect the changes.

Files are now up to date...the only thing I see I have to tweak is to clear the suspensions, which I'll do now and then reload the league files. All the new GMs are inputted and the two coaching moves that were made yesterday have been inputted as well.

Suspensions are cleared, finances are reset, so on and so forth.
Chris Hook has come out of retirement to take the Chicago Blackhawks. I've edited the above post listing available teams so everyone knows who's gone and who's left.

Bruce Sprackman has agreed in principle to take over the vacant GM role of the St. Louis Blues. That gives us 13 GMs...once we get a couple more, I may open up trading and the like, so if there's someone you think would be a fit, kick them in the ass and get them on board. I'm hoping that we'll be ready to go sometime this week. As you all know, the pool of GMs has declined dramatically from what it used to be a few years ago. Makes it a little tougher prospect to get things going. I've removed St. Louis from the list above to let everyone know of the remaining teams.

Chris Paton, a longtime veteran of the sim world, has taken over the Islanders. That gives us 14 GMs...leaving seven slots. Ideally, I'd have all the spots filled before we get rolling, but I don't want to keep everyone waiting indefinitely. That said, once we get one more slot filled and reach the 15 mark, I will open the doors for trading to begin taking place and we can kick off some preseason action over the weekend with any luck. If there are any questions, feel free to let me know. I'll be sending this in a league wide email tonight in case there are some of you that aren't reading my posts on here. Thanks again for your patience and your hard work. I'm looking forward to having some fun and a lot of success.

I've emailed Jared, so we'll wait and see if indeed he's ready to take on the club.

It sounds like Jared Clark is indeed taking on the role of GM for the Toronto Maple Leafs, bringing us up to 15.
