This may seem like a lot to give up for a 35 year old defenseman, but the fact is that I wish to stay competitive this year and Salming is the better all around option. Hopefully he sticks around a couple more years but I also realize he could retire any time. The plan is to hopefully have him around until my younger defensive prospects are ready.
